The same plain straight-sided form as No. 1, given a bolder drawing: a single blossom opened wide enough to wrap the whole cup, every petal filled with close parallel lines that follow its curve.
Where No. 1 is speckled and busy with leaves, this one is nearly all flower. The dark clay shows only in the narrow shapes left between petals — which is what makes the white read as bright as it does.
The rim and interior are finished in a dark glossy glaze. Zhao Ruyan is signed on the foot.
